Jacqueline, affectionately known as Jackie, has been featured on several radio shows. This organization has led an awareness walk to end domestic violence and sexual abuse for the past 12 years on the steps of City Hall. This year, due to the storm, it has been rescheduled to October 29, 2020. Council President Mildred Crump has been our biggest supporter and sponsor for the past 14 years.

Jacqueline partnered with a 30-year-old veteran school teacher who runs their court-appointed batterer’s intervention for abusers at a separate location. Jacqueline has been running a women’s domestic violence and sexual abuse support group for the past 15 years, partnering with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Jacqueline is a member of the Toastmasters International Nonprofit Educational Organization, promoting communication, public speaking and leadership and a member of I AM: the Interfaith Action Movement.

Personally, she has survived some of life’s most violent crimes committed against women.

She experienced horrific physical and sexual abuse. Now, she is available to talk about her courageous journey from looking for love in all the wrong places to finding love within herself. She has a message of inspiration, hope, redemption and lessons on how she rebuilt her life. She shares her personal story about being raped at the age of 16, and at the age 18 lost an eye to domestic violence which resulted in fear, and low self-esteem. She has triumphed over these tragedies and she is an experienced Domestic Violence Specialist Trainer and Motivational speaker who has dedicated her life to teaching others who have suffered similarities how to turn their lives from victimization into victory and from tragedy into triumph.

Jacqueline Limehouse is a woman on a mission whose goal is to stop violence against women, men, and children of all ages. She knows that dysfunctional thinking inherent in domestic violence has been an obstruction for human relationship due the degrading plight of silence that has been passed on from generation to generation. It has been too often a silent crisis for families, communities and for our nation.

SHE IS DETERMINED TO BE HEARD AND WILL DO HER PART IN ERADICATING THIS REPULSIVE FORM OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR.

SHE IS DETERMINED TO BE HEARD!
